What is a

Health-e-Station?

A Health-e-Station is a walk-in center, offering after-hours and weekend healthcare for patients with minor medical conditions. For those experiencing illness that's discomforting but not serious, Health-e-Station is the perfect choice for after-hours and weekend care.

Until now, medical treatment outside of regular doctor's hours has been limited to telephone advice from nurses or pharmacists, or late-night trips to the hospital emergency room, a costly and time-consuming inconvenience. With Health-e-Station, there's a better option. Using advanced technologies in telemedicine, face-to-face encounters with physicians via computer make healthcare visits with highly qualified physicians readily available.

It works like this:
Patients with minor conditions enter Health-e-Station to discover an inviting atmosphere reflecting coffee shop charm in a waiting area thoughtfully designed as a healthcare library. Medical books and magazines fill shelves that line one wall, and a huge plasma TV in another nook offers video healthcare information. During their brief wait to see the doctor, patients are encouraged to empower themselves with pertinent healthcare information.

Once your medical information is logged into our system--a first-visit process that takes only a few minutes--waiting time for future visits is most often no more than 10 minutes. Before you know it, you're seated face-to-face across from a physician who is onscreen, in real-time, and prepared to evaluate your minor conditions and prescribe the necessary measures toward quick recovery.
