Healthcare without the hassle:
At Health-e-Station, patients with minor medical problems get the prompt healthcare attention they deserve. There's no weekend of worry before seeing your regular doctor, and Health e Station makes excessive waiting at Friday or Saturday night emergency rooms a thing of the past.

With operating hours from 4 p.m. to 8:30 a.m. on weekdays and around-the-clock on weekends, Health-e-Station stands ready to meet your minor after-hours healthcare needs.

Thanks to advances in telemedicine, doctor's visits via computers provide an exceptional method of treating minor conditions at Health-e-Station where a trained medical assistant leads patients through their on-air visit with the physician. Interactive bi-directional video equipment connects the at-home doctor with the patient via wide-screen TV and high-speed network, making the visit high-tech and at-home, all at once.

Your routine exam takes place much as it would in a regular office setting. With the physician leading the medical assistant through the exam, all sights and sounds are transmitted via computer, often allowing doctors to perform even more thorough exams than normal, when considering telemedicine's ability to enlarge images.

It's essentially video conferencing adapted to healthcare delivery.

High-tech healthcare:
Your face-to-face encounter with a board-certified physician is so much more than mere TV.

High-tech telemedicine equipment utilized during exams includes FDA-approved peripheral computer attachments such as audio stethoscopes, otoscopes, and cameras with light sources for examining throat and ears, allowing physicians to receive audio and visual information via computer, including chest sounds and images of skin rashes, throat, eardrums and more.

For some minor conditions, telemedicine may prove superior by capturing an image, say of the ear drum when diagnosing ear infections, that is normally not visible to the naked eye. With use of advanced equipment, images are magnified, enabling superior treatment of certain conditions.

"The experience we're creating is one where we acknowledge that most minor care is and can be controlled by the individual," says Andrew Agwunobi, M.D., Health-e-Station's Chairman of the Board. "Health-e-Station is your empowerment."
